Dear Ian

Hello!
How are you? Its much easier to do this if I pretend that you are a pen friend, cause, well, I don’t know who I am talking to and if I think about that too much it could become a bit unnerving. You could be an axe murderer sitting at your computer in nothing but hospital paper pants, or worse, Charlie Sheen, so in order for me to forget the picture I’ve just painted Im gonna call you Ian. Hope you dont mind.

Hi Ian.
How are you?
Im good thanks, there have been a few very exciting things going on that I would like to tell you about.

Firstly the Remix competition is over and we have the winners!

Balls Bounce Ambassadeurs Remix

and

More Quirx Remix

I really love both the winners remixes, and actually it was bloody hard to choose, there was some good old fashioned stiff competition there but I think the winners deserved their win. So, if you buy Turn That Light Out Remix Vol. 2 expect to see their names on it.

We might be showing off some of the other remixes later on so Ill keep you posted about those too if you like, Ian.

OTHER NEWS! OTHER NEWS!

Did I tell you that I was writing a song with Drum and Bass hot shot Nu:tone? Well it features on his album Words and Pictures which is out now on Hospital Records. Here, have a sneaky listen. Nu:Tone – Piece of You feat. Stac Hope you like it. Its not actually drum and bass, more laid back. I really like it!

There are so many other things that I want to tell you about like the fact that OneTaste is hosting a Vocal Workshop on Wednesday 30th March. The amazing ESKA is going to be coming down to the Book Club in Shorditch to teach us professional singing techniques. I CANT WAIT! ESKA is one of my heroes so its going to be an absolute treasure of day. Can you sing Ian? Even if you havent done any singing before but you know that you can sing in tune it would be well worth you coming down because ESKA is amazing. And its only a tenner.

I thought Man Downstairs was dead the other day because he hadn’t been blasting out Classic fm or watching the X Files for quite some time and also, there was this odor coming up through the floor boards that smelled a bit like someone was cooking some minced beef in a microwave. But it turns out all is well as I can hear him now watching CSI. Phew!

Oooh I gotta dash. My friend Chris is launching his Charity tonight. He’s going to be running festivals around the world in collaboration with local communities. Its called The Moringa Tree.
Check it out.

So, Ill leave you with all the above to mull over and a promise to write soon.

Thanks for reading. And if you would like to send me something back I’d love to read it.

Have a lovely weekend
Stac x
