Today was the most challenging. We had to get down 5 tracks all with 10 billion instruments on them… well 5 or 6 plus 3 backing vocals and a main vocal. Crazy shizballs. We had Matthew Halsall on Trumpet, Daniel Clark playing Double Bass & Harp and Magnus Dearness on Trombone. All playing four of my favourite sound makers.
Hit a bit of a stress getting all of it done but we bloody well did it…well apart from the trumpet part on one song but Matthew is coming down from Manchester at the end of the month and Ben has very kindly offered to record it for us. He’s magic that Ben. Ive started calling him BenSkilz. I hope he doesnt mind.
